The crosses and beads are made from fallen branches, gathered with permission, from the lands of our Acadian ancestors, FROM THE CRADLE OF ACADIE, Port Royal, along the Annapolis River, formerly the Dauphin River.
Also, we have been to Beaubassin and Pisiquid and gathered fallen branches to make crosses.
For those names that we have not been to as of yet, we got permission from Parks Canada to collect fallen branches from St. Jean Baptiste Graveyard in Port Royal. The crosses we make from this wood represent all the Acadian names because this is where they rest.
The price of each Acadian cross is $15.00 CAD plus shipping. You can contact us by email at: [email protected] or go to our Facebook page, “The Acadian Peasant”
