My Mother’s Lemon Loaf

1/3 cup shortening

1 cup white sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp.lemon flavour

1/2 cup milk

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp.salt

Glaze:

1/4 cup lemon juice

1/2cup white sugar

Bake at 350 F till golden brown
