My Mother’s Tourtière
5 lbs ground pork
1 large onion
1 clove garlic
3/4 tsp.cinnamon
1/4 tsp.cloves
1/2 all spice
1/2 tsp.savory
1/2 cur water
salt / pepper to taste
Place all ingredients in a pot, boil for about 1 hour low heat
Prepare pie crust….
Place all ingredients in non cook pie crust, bake at 400F. for about 35
mins. then lower the heat at 3:50 until golden….make sure the bottom
is fully cooked.
